This Privacy Policy applies to warv.org, forms and tools provided through the site, and related communications with Wizard's Automotive & RV (“WARV,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy practices.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to give us when you contact the shop, request service, communicate by phone, text or email, or submit a job application. Depending on the interaction, this may include:
- Name, postal address, email address and phone number.
- Vehicle information, service concerns, appointment details and communications.
- Job interests, employment-related information, notes and an optional résumé or other application document.
- Communication preferences and consent records when you choose to receive messages.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, our hosting, security and measurement providers may process technical information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, clicks and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to operate, protect, understand and improve the site.
How we receive information
We receive information directly from you, from your use of the site, from service providers operating on our behalf, and from platforms you choose to use when interacting with us. If another person submits information for you, they should have permission to do so.
How we use information
- Respond to questions and service requests.
- Schedule, perform and communicate about automotive, diesel, RV or fleet service.
- Review and respond to employment applications.
- Send requested operational, appointment, status or customer-service communications.
- Send marketing communications where permitted and where the required consent has been obtained.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, measure and improve the site and our services.
- Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Meet legal, accounting, regulatory and recordkeeping requirements.
- Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to vendors that help us host the site, receive forms, store files, deliver communications, measure website activity, manage advertising, or support business operations. Those providers may use the information only for the services they provide to us and under their applicable agreements.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect our customers, personnel, property or rights; investigate fraud or security issues; or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, sale or other business transaction.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers used to deliver messages may process this information only to provide communication services for us.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The site and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies for security, basic functionality, preferences, analytics and advertising measurement. These technologies may collect device and activity information. Browser settings can be used to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some site functions.
We may use Google Analytics and related measurement tools to understand visits and improve our website and advertising. Google provides information about its practices in the Google Privacy Policy and offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Advertising choices may also be available through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative.
SMS and email communications
Website service requests use Resend to deliver the shop notification and your acknowledgment. Your submitted contact and vehicle information is saved in a staff-only request inbox hosted on Cloudflare and included in the shop notification; the acknowledgment includes a request reference. These emails relate to your request and do not subscribe you to marketing.
If you provide a phone number or email address and affirmatively agree to receive messages, we may send service-related messages and, where authorized, promotional communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- SMS: Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
- Email: Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact contact@warv.org.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent communications that are necessary to respond to your request, complete an authorized service, or provide legally required notices.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing services, reviewing applications, maintaining business and consent records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal or regulatory requirements. Retention varies according to the information, purpose and applicable obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
To make a privacy request, email contact@warv.org. You may also adjust browser cookie settings and use the communication opt-out methods described above.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to scheduling, mapping, financing, social-media, analytics or other third-party services. Their privacy policies apply to information they collect directly. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request review and deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, technology or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice when required.
